The Indiana Pacers invade Madison Square Garden tonight to battle the surging New York Knicks.
The Pacers have bounced back from four straight losses with four straight wins and will be feeling good after their 99-90 win over the 76ers on Monday. Despite falling behind by 15-6 early in the game, the Pacers got it together in a 37-26 second quarter and were just good enough to hold the scrappy 76ers at bay in the second half. Lance Stephenson led the scoring with 25 points while Paul George added 24, but while the Pacers left with the win, they'll be feeling a little sheepish that they allowed the lowly 76ers to push them to the brink at home where they hold the league-best 31-4 record. In the end, Indiana improve to 50-17 overall which leaves them 3 1/2 games clear of the second-placed Miami.

Looking to sneak their way into the playoff race are the Knicks who are coming off a massive 115-94 win over the Bucks. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 23 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 20 off the bench, while shooting a healthy 55.3 percent from the field as a team. The Knicks looked to have officially recovered from their seven-game losing streak with a season-high six straight wins, all by double digits. New York currently sit just four games out of the last spot in the Eastern Conference but they can't afford to take their foot off the gas beacuse nine of their last 10 games are against teams with winning records.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall and 1-8 ATS in their last nine road games, while the Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a win of more than 10 points and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Pacers are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings but just 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in New York.
I was really leaning towards the Knicks but was hoping the bookies would lay a couple more points. With that being said, the Pacers have been far from their best lately and this just looks like the perfect time for the Knicks to snag a win from them.
