The San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors do battle at the Chase Center on Friday night.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in a real funk as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a sixth straight defeat after getting beaten by the Jazz in a 128-117 loss on Wednesday. Malaki Branham led the team with 21 points, while Tre Jones, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Devonte Graham each scored 17 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 47 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Jazz for about three quarters until the Jazz poured in 35 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and make it a blowout.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after outlasting the Pelicans in a 120-109 comeback win on Tuesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, Jordan Poole added 21 points off the bench while Klay Thompson chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 18 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and fell behind by as many as 20 points, before they dominated the second half with 74 points to rally all the way back and make it look easy in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Spurs are 7-23 ATS in their last 30 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a double-digit loss at home and 7-23 ATS in their last 30 games overall. The Warriors are 38-15-1 ATS in their last 54 home games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against a team below. 400.

Head to head, the under is 6-2-1 in the last nine meetings overall and the under is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings in Golden State.

The Spurs are still missing Jeremy Sochan, Devin Vassell and Zach Collins, while the Warriors are still missing Ty Jerome and Andrew Wiggins. The line is very hefty for this one, so it’s tempting to take the Spurs who are led by a bunch of new faces at the moment, but the Warriors are in great form and I think they can get the cover as long as they don’t overlook this game.
