The Utah Jazz pay a visit to Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.
With just two wins in their last 15 games, the Jazz have finally sunken to dead last in the Western Conference standings with an overall record of 23-49. Despite their lack of success, the Jazz showed plenty of fight against the Grizzlies on Wednesday behind 22 points from Derrick Favors and 18 from Gordon Hayward. The problem was that coach Ty Corbin only used eight players in the entire game so fatigue may have attributed to the Jazz scoring just seven points in the final seven minutes of the game. With the loss, Utah falls to 15-21 at home where they've lost five of their last six.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans have won eight of their last 11 games and will be going for a fifth straight win after taking down the red-hot Clippers by 98-96 on Wednesday. Anthony Davis scored 16 points,13 rebounds and six blocks while Anthony Morrow scored a team-high 27 points, but the x-factor of the game had to be the scarcely used Darius Miller who scored 16 points on seven of nine shooting off the bench. Defensively, the Pelicans really took it to the high-flying Clippers, holding them to just 41.3 percent shooting, including Chris Paul to none for 12 shooting from the field. With the win, New Orleans improves to 31-40 overall and 19-17 at home where they've won four of their last five.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Pelicans are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win.
Head to head, the Jazz are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Underdog is 10-2 ATS in the last 12.
Given the fact that the Pelicans have beaten the Nets, the Heat and the Clippers in their last three games I like what I am seeing and they are the play.
