The Indiana Pacers take a trip to the nation's capital to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Pacers had lost three of four games but were able to steady the ship on Wednesday with a thrilling 84-83 win over the Heat. Paul George hasn't been in the best of form lately but he was certainly up for this game, leading the way with 23 points while Roy Hibbert added 21 but it was a real team effort as Lance Stephenson added 15 points before getting ejected and David West added 13 points including a key three pointer. It was an ugly win, but Indiana will take it because it leaves them three games clear of Miami for the top seed in the East which could be prove crucical later down the track.

Meanwhile, the Wizards are in danger of dropping down the standings as they have lost six of nine and four of their last five games. On Wednesday, John Wall led the Wizards with 29 points and Marcin Gortat added 17 but there was just no stopping the Suns who shot 49 percent from the field and 50 percent from the three-point line (14 of 28). In fact, the Wizards were down by as much as 25 points and looked headed for a massive loss before Wall scored 24 of his 29 points in the second half to get his team to within three points with 1:30 left in the game. With the loss, Washington misses a key chance to go within one game of the fifth-placed Brooklyn.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 6-21-1 ATS in their last 28 games overall and 4-17 ATS in their last 21 road games, while hte Wizards are 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 home games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
Coming off a big win over the Heat, I expect the Pacers to have a bit of a letdown performance here so I will take the points with the home team.
