The Washington Wizards pay a visit to the Charlotte Bobcats tonight looking for a third straight win.
After a stretch of four losses in five games, the Wizards have begun to turn the corner with a couple wins on the trot. After upsetting the Pacers on Friday, the Wizards welcomed the Hawks to town on Saturday and took them down by 101-97 thanks to John Wall who led six players in double figures with his 25 points. Drew Gooden added 16 points and Bradley Beal had 14 as the Wizards scrapped their way to a sloppy win and inched their way closer to their first playoff spot since 2008. With the win, Washington improved to 38-35 overall and 19-17 at home.

Meanwhile, the Bobcats have lost four of their last six games and are coming off their second straight overtime game, this time a 110-105 loss at Orlando on Friday. Josh McRoberts and Kemba Walker led the scoring with 24 points apiece while Al Jefferson added 20 as the Bobcats stormed out to an early 16-point lead before fading in overtime. All season we've seen teams lose games after building big leads and this was no different. Turnovers usually kill teams but the Bobcats committed just 10. It was actually on the boards where the Bobcats got dominated by 57-36 and allowed Nikola Vucevic to grab 10 offensive boards which was the difference in the end. With the loss, Charlotte falls three games clear of the sixth-placed Washington so it's highly likely that they will face Miami in the first round of the playoffs.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Bobcats are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 home games.
Head to head, the Favorite is 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and the Over is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings in Charlotte.
The Wizards are the team in better form of late, but the Bobcats really need this win and should be good enough at home.
