The Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks face off on Wednesday in Miami in NBA action.
The Miami Heat once again have the best record in the Eastern Conference and although they are just percentage points ahead of the Pacers they control their own destiny. The Heat have won three in a row, seven of their last 10 games, and they are 29-6 at home this season. Lebron James leads Miami averaging 26.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Dwayne Wade is averaging 19.2 points but is questionable for this game, Chris Bosh averages 16.4 points and 6.7 rebounds, and Ray Allen is averaging 9.7 points. The Heat are averaging 102.9 points and they are shooting 50.4 percent and 36.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 97.4 points and their opponents are shooting 45.4 percent. The Heat are going for the three-peat so while they have htrir ups and downs over the course of the long season look for them to be ready when the playoffs begin.

The Milwaukee Bucks have the worst record in the NBA and they haven’t done much recently to improve on that. The Bucks are 1-9 in their last 10 games and 5-32 on the road this season. Brandon Knight leads Milwaukee averaging 17.6 points per game. Khris Middleton is averaging 11.8 points, O.J. Mayo is averaging 11.7 points, and John Henson is averaging 10.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. The Bucks are averaging 95.3 points and they are shooting 43.4 percent and 35.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 103.4 points and their opponents shoot 46.8 percent. Milwaukee should get immediate help in the NBA Draft.
Miami is 4-0 against the spread in their last four games, 7-3-1 against the spread in their last 11 home games, and 4-0 against the spread against the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee is 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games, 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games, and 18-37 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The road team has covered the point spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.
The Bucks have used the big numbers to cover in spots they have no chance at outright wins but they aren't so furtunate here as the Heat have too much riding on the last few games.
