In a game with so much on the line for both teams, the Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers will play Sunday for the fourth and final time. The Pacers lead the series 2-1.
The Atlanta Hawks are trying their best to fight off the New York Knicks for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. However, the Hawks aren’t doing a great job by losing seven of their last nine games. On the season, the Hawks average 101.1 points on 45.6 percent shooting and allow 102.2 points on 46.3 percent shooting. The Hawks must find their stroke in this game, as they’re shooting just 29.9 percent from three in their last five games. The Atlanta Hawks are 32-42-1 ATS overall and 14-23-1 ATS on the road.

The Indiana Pacers are still fighting the Miami Heat for the top seed in the Eastern Conference, but loses in seven of their last 10 games haven’t helped. On the season, the Pacers average 96.8 points on 44.7 percent shooting and allow 92 points on 41.8 percent shooting. While the Pacers defense is still playing up to par, Indiana’s offense is averaging just 85.2 points in its last five games. The Pacers have scored more than 100 points just once in their last 11 games. The Indiana Pacers are 35-41-1 ATS overall and 20-18-1 ATS at home.
The Hawks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 10 points and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 1 days rest. The Pacers are 6-21 ATS in their last 27 games playing on 1 days rest and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Hawks are 1-3-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings, while the favorite is 22-7-1 ATS in the last 30 meetings.
I'm not sure how you can trust the Pacers with the way they've been playing the past couple of weeks. Indiana is a completely different than what it was earlier in the year and looks like it could lose to anybody on any given night. Considering Atlanta is the desprate team in this spot, I'll gladly take the Hawks and the trukload of points.
