The Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns will square off on Sunday for the third and final time this season. The series is split at one game apiece.
The Thunder have won seven of their last nine games, as they continue to create separation from the Los Angeles Clippers for the second seed in the West. On the season, the Thunder average 106.2 points on 47.2 percent shooting and allow 99.5 points on 43.3 percent shooting. The Thunder are coming off a 111-107 loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday, but point guard Russell Westbrook didn’t play due to rest. He remains questionable to play in this matchup. The OKC Thunder are 40-33-2 ATS overall and 18-18 ATS on the road.

The Phoenix Suns are playing for an eighth seed in the West, as they’re tied with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Suns have won seven of their last nine games and are coming off a 109-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. On the season, the Suns average 105.5 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allow 102.6 points on 45.5 percent shooting. Gerald Green is shooting 41.2 percent from three and averaging 18.6 points in his last five games. The Phoenix Suns are 49-26-1 ATS overall and 22-16-1 ATS at home.
The Thunder are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games playing on 1 days rest. The Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Thunder are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Phoenix.
It's always wise to take the Thunder when you're getting them at this cheap price. While it's fair to question the motivation of OKC in this game and it'd be smart to question if all of the starters are playing, I like my chances in getting the much better team and the small chalk.
