The Line: Los Angeles Lakers +10 -- Over/Under: 225.5 See the Latest Odds

The Houston Rockets will look to beat the Los Angeles Lakers three of the four times they play, as Tuesday’s matchup will be the final meeting this season.

The Houston Rockets are still battling with the Portland Trail Blazers for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Rockets lead the Trail Blazers by a game and a half in the West. On the season, the Rockets average 107.1 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allow 102.4 points on 44.1 percent shooting. James Harden is averaging 31 points in his last five games, while the defense has allowed five straight 100-point performances. The Rockets must improve their defense if they’re going to make a serious championship run. The Houston Rockets are 38-36-2 ATS overall and 17-20 ATS on the road.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets - 4/8/14

The Lakers have lost four straight and 10 of their last 13 games. On the season, the Lakers average 102.5 points on 44.9 percent shooting and allow 109 points on 46.6 percent shooting. Almost the entire Lakers roster seems to be banged up, but Nick Young is expected to play in this game even with a bruised knee. Speaking of poor defense, the Lakers have allowed 19 of their last 22 opponents to top 100 points. The Lakers are 38-38-1 ATS overall and 18-19-1 ATS at home.

The Rockets are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 1 days rest. The Lakers are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Rockets are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings, while the favorite is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

Even though the line is insane, I'm not sure how to turn down the over in this matchup. These are two teams that put all of their focus on the offensive side of the ball and don't pay too much attention to getting stops. This game will see a ton of points and should have no problem getting over the projected number.
