The Line: Boston Celtics -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Charlotte Bobcats take a trip to The Garden tonight to battle the Boston Celtics.
The Bobcats will be looking to continue their surge towards the playoffs as they come into Boston tonight looking for a sixth straight win. On Wednesday, Al Jefferson scored 20 points and 18 rebounds while Kemba Walker added 17 points and 12 assists as the Bobcats squandered an early 20-point lead before rallying in overtime to beat the Wizards by 94-88. With the important win, Charlotte leapfrogged Washington to get the sixth seed in the East which would mean that they avoid a first-round matchup against Miami and Indiana if they can hold on for the last four regular season games.

Meanwhile, the Celtics will just be looking to put an end to their horrendous season as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games and are now looking at a 10th straight loss. On Wednesday, the Celtics played an inspired brand of basketball to lead the Hawks by 77-70 after three quarters, but they just collapsed in the fourth where they got outscored by 35-20. Avery Bradley led the scoring with 24 points while Rajon Rondo added 19 points and 12 assists, but they just let themselves down defensively, allowing the Hawks to shot 53 percent from the field for the game and 61 percent in the fourth quarter.
In ATS trends, the Bobcats are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a win and 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 games overall, while the Celtics are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six home games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Bobcats are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Boston and the Under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall.
I'm definitely looking at the red-hot Bobcats to win and cover here but I'll wait for the spread before I give out my free pick.
The line is finally out and it's the Bobcats who are favored by just five points so that's where I'm going in this one.
