Is it just me or have the Denver Nuggets had a really strange season? Granted, injuries haven't helped, but there's not many teams out their that have been as up and down as this weirdly constructed roster. There was a period there earlier in the season when the Nuggs ripped off seven straight wins, only to go on an eight-game losing streak shortly after. What proceed that? Five straight losses. And there was the period where they lost four on the trot by an average of 27 points per contest.
What kind of the form are Denver currently in? Well, they are currently riding a three-game winning streak which includes a home win over Houston and a one-point victory in Golden State last week. And, they have defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in their last two meetings this season, which were both at home by the way.
Speaking of the Clippers, they suffered recent home losses Dallas and Oklahoma City, but they have still won six of their last eight overall, not just straight up but against the spread. There injury free at just the right time of the season, bar Danny Granger and they should be nice and rested too, having played just three times since the Sunday the 6th.
Denver is still playing hard down the stretch and I think they can keep this one within single digits...
