The Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder face off on Monday for game two of their Western Conference NBA Playoff series.
The Memphis Grizzlies fell behind early in game one, mounted a comeback, but in the end fell short and now trail 0-1 in the series. Zach Randolph had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Memphis, Mike Conley had 16 points and 11 assists, and Marc Gasol had 16 points and six rebounds. It was a poor shooting day for the Grizzlies all the way around shooting 36.3 percent from the floor, 18.2 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and 58.1 percent from the free throw line, all numbers they will need to improve on. The Grizzlies showed guts coming back but they simply had nothing left in the end.

The Oklahoma City Thunder came out looking to make a statement in game one on Saturday and they certainly made one. Kevin Durant had 33 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, Russell Westbrook had 23 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, and Serge Ibaka had 17 points and nine rebounds. OKC shot 44.7 percent from the floor and 25 percent from beyond the three-point arc as well as 87.5 percent from the free throw line. While the Thunder were able to pull away in game one in the end, generally Memphis has given them problems.
Memphis is 4-1 against the spread following a loss of more than 10 points, 1-8-1 against the spread in their last 10 road games, and 3-9-1 against the spread in their last 13 games. Oklahoma City is 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven home games, 5-2 against the spread following a win, and 4-1 against the spread against the Western Conference. The home team is 3-0-1 against the spread in the last four meetings of these two.
I had the under in the first game and nailed it comfortably but in this game I have it going over as I believe the Grizzlies get off to a better start than they did in game one.
My stronger play is on who will cover the point spread and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
