The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors head to Oakland with the series tied up. The Clippers won game two fairly easily on Monday, 138-98.
In the game two victory, the Clippers pretty much got whatever they wanted, shooting 56.6 percent from the field, 48 percent from three and 91.4 percent from the free throw line. Blake Griffin dominated with 35 points and the Clippers had three bench players also score in the double figures. Griffin is shooting 59.7 percent in his last four games. The Clippers are now shooting 48.6 percent from the field in their last five games and are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games when scoring 100-plus points. USA TODAY Sports
The Warriors made just four of 19 threes in the game two loss and turned the ball over 26 times. Stephen Curry led the way with 24 points, but was just 1-7 from three and many of those points came in the third quarter when the game was already out of hand. The Warriors are allowing 49.2 percent shooting in their last five games and 40.8 percent shooting from three. However, the Warriors return home where they hold teams to 44.4 percent shooting from the field and end up shooting threes themselves at 37.9 percent. Andre Iguodala has just 12 points and nine fouls in this series. The Golden State Warriors are 42-39-3 ATS overall and 19-20-2 ATS at home.
The Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Warriors are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 2 days rest and 33-16-2 ATS in their last 51 games following a S.U. loss. The Clippers are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Golden State, while the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
The over is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams. With the way the Warriors shoot the ball at home, you have to like this game keeping that trend alive.
I also have a play on the side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
