The Oklahoma City Thunder are playing in a must win Saturday game four of the NBA playoffs with them being down 2-1 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Thunder lost their second straight game of this playoff series with a 98-95 overtime loss on Thursday. Despite getting 30 points each from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, the Thunder shot just 39.1 percent from the field and 17.9 percent from three. The lack of three-point shooting continues to be a serious problem for the Thunder, as they’re making just 24.8 of their attempts in their last five games. Durant was 0-8 from downtown in the game three loss and is shooting just 43.6 percent from the field in his last five games. To make matters worse, the Thunder’s bench is scoring just 21.6 points in their last five games. The Oklahoma City Thunder are 44-39-2 ATS overall and 20-22 ATS on the road.

The Grizzlies are a team that’s playing with more and more confidence with each passing game. With the game three win, the Grizzlies have won nine straight games when holding their opponent under 100 points. Of course, it’s even tougher for the Thunder on the road, as the Grizzlies hold teams to an average of 96 points on 44.8 percent shooting when playing on their home court. Not to mention the Grizzlies have forced a combined 36 turnovers in the first three games. Offensively, the Grizzlies are shooting 46 percent from the field in their last five games, and Mike Conley is shooting 48.6 percent from the field during that stretch. The Memphis Grizzlies are 38-44-3 ATS overall and 19-23 ATS at home.
The Thunder are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Grizzlies are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Conference Quarterfinals games and 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 1 days rest. The home team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, while the Thunder are 3-8-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
I really like the way the Grizzlies are playing, as they've controlled the tempo of the game and have really frustrated OKC in this series. That's why I'm taking Memphis and the points. Until Oklahoma City can start showing signs of life offensively, you have to like the Grizzlies to win once again.
