The Portland Trailblazers will be looking to finish off the Rockets in Game 6 tonight.
With their backs against the wall, the Rockets were able to keep their season alive with a hard-fought 108-98 win over the Blazers in Game 5. James Harden had a quiet game of just 17 points on five of 15 shooting, so the Rockets leaned heavily on Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons who provided 22 and 20 points respectively. However, the biggest story of the night has to be the play of Jeremy Lin who saw extra time because of Patrick Beverley's illness and delivered a crucial 21 points off the bench. It wasn't quite Linsanity, but he gave the Rockets a much needed spark off the bench with his aggressiveness on both ends of the floor.

As for the Trailblazers, Damian Lillard started the game hot and finished with 26 points while Wesley Matthews made five treys on his way to 27 points, but it just felt like the Blazers were always playing catchup because LaMarcus Aldridge scored just eight points after averaging 35.3 points in the first four games. As a team, the Blazers shot just 43 percent from the field, but will be quietly satisfied that they still managed to cut a 17-point lead to one point three times in the fourth quarter. Going back to their home court, I expect the Blazers to play much better on both sides of the floor, but will that be good enough? Or are we heading for a thrilling Game 7 decider?
In ATS trends, The Rockets are 11-5-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings overall and 7-1-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Portland.
The Rockets did a great job of getting the win in Game 5 and keeping their hopes alive, but I think those dreams may just come to an end tonight. I really like the Blazers to win and cover in front of their home crowd in what should be a high-scoring affair.
