The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Portland Trailblazers in Game 5 at the AT&T Center tonight.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series but the Blazers were able to get one step closer to achieving that by beating the Spurs in Game 4 by 103-92. Damian Lillard led the scoring with 25 points, LaMarcus Aldridge added 19 while Will Barton had 17, but the best player of the night was actually Nicolas Batum who almost triple-doubled with 14 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. However, it was on the defensive end where the Blazers needed to improve the most and they did that by holding the Spurs to just 3 of 18 from the three-point line and 44.3 percent from the field.

Speaking of the Spurs, Tony Parker scored just 14 points after pouring in 29 in Game 3 and that really seemed to slow down the Spurs early on. I expected the reserves to come in and take over the game like they've done so many times this season, but the shots just weren't dropping and for the first time in a while, the Spurs just didn't look like themselves. Still, there's definitely no need to panic as San Antonio are still up 3-1 heading back home for Game 5 where they should finish the job.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in San Antonio, so despite their impressive showing to keep their season alive, I think it all ends here for Portland.
I'll take San Antonio in a blowout.
