2013-14 Season: 16.4 PPG-5.9 RPG-0.8 APG
Strengths: Early is fundamentally sound with a knack for scoring the basketball. He can hit the outside shot and has the size and enough leaping ability to score close to the basket. He is very effective on the pick and roll and presents a problem for opposing defenses with his movement without the ball and his ability to catch and shoot. He has the quickness to keep offensive players from driving by him and was Mr. Consistent under Gregg Marshall in college.
Weakness: Shooting range is improving but has to get a bit better and his ball handling skills need a boost as he doesn't seem to be 100% comfortable when putting the ball on the floor. He has the height and a 6-9 wing span to give him length at the defensive end although he is a bit slight and could prosper with more bulk. Offensive rebounding was down even though the potential to hit the glass is there.
Projection: Early has all the necessary skills to contribute although most need to improve. He has benefited from the coaching of Marshall but might be a bit overmatched right now in the NBA where he will likely be chosen in the late first to early second round by a team that needs to slowly bring him along.
