The Line: Indiana Fever See the Latest Odds
The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky square off Tuesday night on ESPN2. This is the fourth meeting between these two teams, and the Sky have won two of the first three games.
The Fever are trying to make up for such a poor start to the season, as they’ve won three of their last five games. Of course, this run has been made since the return of Tamika Catchings, as she leads the Fever with an average of 19 points per game and hit the game-winner in the WNBA All Star Game. Catchings has paid off in a big way for a Fever team that can go long stretches without putting the ball in the hoop. Overall, the Fever average 76 points on 41.9 percent shooting and allow 77.6 points on 44.2 percent shooting. This game begins a five-game road trip for the Fever and they would love nothing better than to start things with a victory.

The Sky have fallen to the bottom of the Eastern Conference with six straight losses. Things aren’t going to get any better without Chicago’s All Star guard in Elena Delle Donne, who leads the Sky with 21.2 points but has been out due to ongoing treatment for Lyme disease. The Sky simply can’t win much without their top scorer given the fact they’re one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Overall, the Sky average 77.7 points on 43.3 percent shooting and allow 81.1 points on 42.9 percent shooting. The Sky need Jessica Breland to be a little more consistent offensively in order to have a shot of turning things around.
The Fever are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. The Sky are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS loss. The Fever are 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Chicago.
Not sure how you can pick against the Fever in this spot. Catchings is on a mission to lead her team, while the Sky are in a downward spiral without their best player. This line is a gift and I suggest pounding it.
