The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers will begin their 2014 preseason Tuesday at the STAPLES Center on NBATV.
The Golden State Warriors enter this season with a new head coach in Steve Kerr and pretty much have the same roster that made the playoffs last season. The only real addition the Warriors made was adding depth to the point guard position by bringing in Shaun Livingston. It’s going to be interesting to see how Kerr, who was a potent shooter when he played in the NBA, manages such a talented shooting team and finds ways to get guys like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson open. Andrew Bogut has recovered from his rib injury and is expected to be used more offensively under Kerr and his staff. One Golden State player to watch is Harrison Barnes, who has to start showing more promise as he now enters his third season.

The Los Angeles Clippers were the best scoring team in the NBA last season and return their main nucleus that should help result in similar numbers. In fact, the Clippers have the potential to be even better with the addition of Spencer Hawes, which was easily the most underrated singing of the NBA offseason. The Clippers are a team that pretty much knows what they have and are ready for the regular season to begin. However, the Clippers would love to develop some depth, especially at small forward where Reggie Bullock is expected to take a big step forward after barely playing last season. Jordan Farmar also has to prove he can be a quality backup guard after missing a ton of time the last three seasons. Remember, the Los Angeles Clippers no longer have Darren Collison, so guard depth is important.
This is one of the better preseason games you're going to get all season. And with the way the Warriors shoot the ball, there's no way I'm leaving this many points on the board. Take Golden State and the points.
