The Line: See the Latest Odds
The Washington Wizards wrap up their preseason with a game Wednesday against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
The Washington Wizards are 4-3 in preseason play and have lost their last two games. One Washington player who is finally starting to blossom is Otto Porter Jr., who has scored 39 points and dished out nine assists in his last three games. Another guy who has made the most of his minutes has been Garrett Temple, who is 8-15 from the field in his last three games. John Wall has played very little throughout the preseason, which includes just 38 minutes in his last two games and not even playing in the Wizards last contest. Paul Pierce also sat out the Wizards last game with a bruised knee. The Washington Wizards are going to be a very interesting team to watch once the regular season begins.

This is the third and final home preseason game for the New York Knicks, and they’re 2-3 overall. Carmelo Anthony has gotten himself ready for the real action, as he’s racked up 50 points and 18 rebounds in his last three games. Amar'e Stoudemire has played 20-plus minutes in his last two games and looks healthier than he’s been in quite some time. Another positive sign for the New York Knicks is that Tim Hardaway Jr. is a combined 6-8 from three in his last two games and is proving that last year was no fluke for the young shooter. Meanwhile, rookie Cleanthony Early is a combined 3-12 from the field in his last three games and has played just 13 minutes in his last two. The New York Knicks are still searching for some key guys who can help out their veteran players.
The Knicks have been heating up a bit from downtown. Give me NY to cover the small number at home.
