The Line: Sacramento Kings +5.5 -- Over/Under: 201 See the Latest Odds

The Sacramento Kings host the Portland Trailblazers tonight at the Sleep Train Arena.

We all knew LaMarcus Aldridge had a great jumpshot for a big man, but he seems to have extended his range in the offseason, kicking off the night against the Thunder with a three pointer on his way to a team-high 27 points. Wesley Matthews added 22 points while Damian Lillard had a quiet night of just 10 as the Blazers took down the shorthanded Thunder by 106-89. A big victory at home is a nice way to start the season but the Blazers were certainly nervous for most of the game when Russell Westbrook was running loose. Thankfully, they put it all together in the fourth quarter where they outscored the Thunder by 31-12 to run away with the win.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings looked pretty bad in their season opener against the Warriors, committing 27 turnovers and shooting just 30.8 percent from the field and three of 18 from the three-point line. DeMarcus Cousins missed his first five shots and finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds but was constantly battling foul trouble. Rudy Gay and Darren Collison added 14 and 13 points respectively, but other than that, no one else even finished in double figures as the Kings lost by 95-77.

In ATS trends, the Blazers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento and the Under is 21-7 in the last 28 meetings overall.

There's no doubt that the Kings looked out of sorts on opening night, but that's probaby because they're still adjusting to life without Isaiah Thomas so I'll give them a bit of a pass there. However, anything close to the same effort I saw against the Warriors and the Kings will get blown away by double digits again tonight and I just get the feeling that they're in for another long night.
