The Brooklyn Nets will be hosting the Orlando Magic on Sunday at the Barclays Center.
The Brooklyn Nets are currently sitting at 3-2, thanks in large part to their offense. The Nets currently are ranked sixth in the league in points scored per game, averaging 104.8 per. The Nets are also playing well defensively, ranking 14th in the league right now, giving up 98.6 per outing. Brooklyn is coming off a solid win over the Knicks on Friday, defeating New York 110-99 in Brooklyn. Daron Williams was the leading scorer for the Nets against the Knicks, putting up 29.

The Orlando Magic are, as figured by many this season, struggling. The Magic are 2-4 on the season and are ranked near the mid-bottom of the league in most statistical categories. All except rebounding. The Magic are grabbing an average of 46.7 boards per game right now, and if that trend can continue, and the Magic can shore up their offense to take advantage of the second chances, Orlando could be improved, and better than some may have thought heading into the season. That being said, the Magic are a long way away from being a playoff team, but could be a tricky out in certain situations.
The Nets are 6-2 overall against the Magic in their last eight meetings, and in that span, six of the games have gone under the number.
I’m going to be on the over on this one. I like what the Magic are doing on the boards, and Orlando is also great at getting points inside, which should equate to some easy buckets. The Nets play really well at home, and should be able to put up plenty on their own as well.
