The San Antonio Spurs will be looking to make light work of the lowly Philadelphia 76ers tonight.
Not surprisingly, the Philadelphia 76ers have yet to win a game this season, but they showed plenty of fight in their 88-87 loss against the Rockets on Friday, after getting trounced by 53 points on Thursday. Tony Wroten led the way with 19 points and eight assists while Henry Sims added 14 points as the 76ers led the Rockets for most of the game. However, with just 16.9 seconds left in the game a Sixers turnover would allowed the Rockets' James Harden to win the game on a driving layup. With the loss, Philadelphia drop to a league-worst 0-9 on the season and 0-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs are a solid 5-4 on the season so far but just haven't been blowing away teams like we've become accustomed to seeing. On Saturday night, the Spurs looked like they were on the cusp of capping off a four-road swing with a fourth straight win, but fell short to the Kings by 94-91. Manu Ginobili had a strong game of 21 points and five assists while Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green added 16 points each, but it just looked like the Spurs ran out of gas as they lost to the Kings, snapping a nine-game winning streak.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win, while the Spurs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team under .400 and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in San Antonio.
This game looks to have all the makings of a blowout win and cover for the Spurs at home, but there's always a chance that coach Popovich will rest a couple starters so be sure to check the lineups before tipoff. If everyone suits up as expected, I'll take a small punt on the Spurs to win big at home in this one.
