The Brooklyn Nets head to OKC on Friday to face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing host to the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. The Thunder have been decimated with injuries this season, and it has shown in their record, as OKC is just 3-10 on the season. The Thunder, are of course missing Westbrook and Durant, and watching this team play, it’s pretty obvious just how big those pieces are to the OKC puzzle. The Thunder are still playing well defensively, which is a plus, but the offense is managing just under 90 points a game. That is not going to get it done in this league, especially in the West.

The Brooklyn Nets head to OKC on Friday with a record of 4-7. The Nets have been considered one of the worst teams in the league the past few seasons, and while they are far from a powerhouse, Brooklyn has done some nice this this year. The Nets are in the top half of the league in points scored, and while definitely not great, the defense has been good enough at times. Brooklyn has really struggled as of late however, with the Nets dropping five straight heading into this meeting with the Thunder. In their last outing, Brooklyn fell to the Bucks in overtime on Wednesday.
I’m going with the Thunder here. The Nets have the record, and have arguably played better than OKC this season, but OKC is a tough place to play and getting the better defense, on their home court is tough to pass up. Also, if you are a totals guy, the under looks intriguing as well.
