The Wizards are coming off of a three-point loss to Dallas on Wednesday hat halted a three game winning streak. The expectations were sky high for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season and so far the results have ben disappointing as they sit at 5-5. The Cavs had strung together four wins but hey have now lost their last two games. The Cavaliers are averaging 105 points per game and shooting 45.3 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 103.1 points and their opponents shoot48.3 percent. LeBron James is still the best player in the NBA no matter what uniform he is wearing and he is averaging 15.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. Kyrie Irving is averaging 21.9 points and 5.0 assists, kevin Love is averaging 16.7 points and 10.4 rebounds, and Anderson Varejao is averaging 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds. The Cavaliers are too good to be a .500 team but it is a mater of how long it takes for them to figure things out to be a solid team.
Washington is 11-4 against the spread playing on one days rest, 1-5 against the spread in their last six games, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four home games. Cleveland is 4-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games, and 3-8 against the spread when their opponent allows more than 100 points in their previous game. The underdog has covered the spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
Washington is getting points at home and I see that as the wrong team being favored so I will take the points and he Wizards.
