The red-hot Toronto Raptors go for a sixth straight win tonight when they visit the Atlanta Hawks.
The Toronto Raptors are an impressive 12-2 on the season and will be going for a sixth straight win after sneaking past the Suns by 104-100 on Monday. Jonas Valanciunas led the scoring with a season-high 27 points on 10 of 11 shooting while DeMar DeRozan added 23 points, but it wasn't exactly the most clinical performance as the Raptors had to essentially win the game twice after squandering a 17-point lead, but offensive rebounds and key baskets late meant that the Raptors avoided disaster.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks haven't quite been as hot to start the season, but they are coming off a nice 106-102 at Washington thanks to a second consecutive 28-point performance from Jeff Teague and 17 points from Paul Millsap. In a game that was deadlocked for about three quarters, Shelvin Mack and Mike Scott combined for 30 points off the bench and sparked a 22-5 run late in the game to seal the unlikely road win for the Hawks who improved to 7-5 overall and 2-4 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games and 15-7 ATS in their last 22 road games against a team with a winning home record, while the Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Home team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Over is 18-7-1 in the last 26 meetings in Atlanta.
I picked the Hawks to cause the upset last night and they looked pretty good, but I just can't pass on the in-form Raptors to win and cover the small spread in this one.
