The Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons play Wednesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Los Angeles Clippers have won four of their last six games and are looking for consistency. On the season, the Clippers are averaging 103.2 points on 47.2 percent shooting and are allowing 100.5 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Blake Griffin leads the clippers with 22.2 points and 7.5 rebounds while Chris Paul is averaging 18.6 points and 9.9 assists. Jamal Crawford is shooting 44.5 percent from the field and DeAndre Jordan is averaging 11.5 rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers have been playing some very inconsistent basketball and don’t seem interested half the time on the defensive end. It’s also insane to me how a time as big as the Clippers is ranked 29th in the league in rebounds. The Clips need to show me more. Matt Barnes is doubtful for this game with a calf injury.

The Detroit Pistons have lost five straight games and continue to struggle offensively. On the season, the Pistons are averaging 91.7 points on 41.3 percent shooting and are allowing 97.1 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Brandon Jennings leads the Pistons with 16 points and 5.8 assists but remains questionable with a thumb injury. Greg Monroe is averaging 15.3 points and 10.3 rebounds while Josh Smith is shooting 37.4 percent from the field. Andre Drummond has 36 points and 26 rebounds in his last two games. The Detroit Pistons have the talent to be a surprise team in the East but for whatever reason can’t put the ball in the hoop with any consistency. The Pistons haven’t scored 100 points in six straight games.
The Clippers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games overall. The Pistons are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 0 days rest and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Clippers are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Detroit while the road team is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
This is the perfect game for the Clippers to get rolling, as the Pistons can't put the ball in the hoop. LA doesn't have to worry about defense in this one and should win by double digits.
