The Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets play Wednesday night at the Toyota Center.
The Sacramento Kings have won three straight games and will play their third straight road game. On the season, the Kings are averaging 103.1 points on 45.3 percent shooting and are allowing 100 points on 43.5 percent shooting. DeMarcus Cousins leads the Kings with 23.2 points and 12.3 rebounds while Rudy Gay is averaging 21.1 points on 44.9 percent shooting. However, Gay is questionable with an injury. Ben McLemore is shooting 45.7 percent from the field. The Sacramento Kings have shown that they can score points at a high percentage but their defense had to improve. Good news for Sacramento fans is that the Kings have held three of their last five opponents to less than 100 points. Of course, this is a measuring stick game for the Kings.

The Houston Rockets have split their last four games and play their fourth straight home game. On the season, the Rockets are averaging 96.7 points on 42 percent shooting and are allowing 91.7 points on 41.6 percent shooting. James Harden leads the Rockets with 25.2 points and 6.6 assists while Dwight Howard is averaging 18.8 points and 11.3 rebounds. Trevor Ariza is shooting 36.6 percent from downtown. Howard and Patrick Beverley are questionable for this game with injuries. The Houston Rockets have shown to be one of the more balanced teams in the NBA but recent injuries have hampered their consistency over the last week. With some playoff caliber teams coming to town, the Rockets will be tested to their limits.
The Kings are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Rockets are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 vs. Western Conference and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Kings are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Houston and 4-11 ATS in the last 15 meetings overall.
The Rockets are tough to beat at home and the Kings likely don't stand a chance coming off a back-to-back. Whether Howard plays or not, the Rockets should get the job done.
