The Miami Heat travel to the nation's capital to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Miami Heat have won four of their last six and have now won three straight on the road after taking down the Knicks by 86-79 last night. Dwyane Wade returned from injury and had himself a field day with 27 points on 11 of 18 shooting, while Chris Bosh added 20 points and nine rebounds of his own. The rest of the team really struggled and combined to shoot just 12 of 36 from the field, but the defensive intensity definitely made up for it, holding the Knicks to just 35.2 percent shooting and just 34 points in the first half. With the win, Miami improved to 9-7 on the season and 5-2 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards were able to arrest a two-game skid on Saturday with a hard-fought 83-80 win over the Pelicans. Marcin Gortat led the scoring with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while John Wall and Bradley Beal scored just 11 and 12 points respectively, but the Wizards were able to capitalize on a slow start from the Pelicans and hold off a late charge to win. With the win, Washington improves to 10-5 on the season and 6-2 at home.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Wizards are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall and just 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Heat are 19-7-1 ATS in the last 27 meetings in Washington, but the Home team is a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.
