The Portland Trailblazers look to add to the New York Knicks' misery tonight when they meet at Madison Square Garden.
The Portland Trailblazers have won 12 of their last 13 and are coming off a 88-82 win over the Pacers thanks to the usual suspects. Damian Lillard led the way with 23 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge shot just seven of 21 from the field but still added 18 points and 13 rebounds as the Blazers won despite shooting just 39.8 percent from the field and a season-low four of 21 from the three-point line. Aldridge had a rough shooting night, but still hit a perfect two of two from the three-point line whereas Wesley Matthews had 12 points but missed on all five of his three-point attempts. With the win, Portland improved to 15-4 and 10-2 at home where they've only lost to the Grizzlies and the Warriors, two of the best records in the league.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in a world of hurt all season, losing 17 of their last 21 games and their last seven straight including a heartbreaking buzzer beating loss at New Orleans on Friday. Carmelo Anthony rebounded from a nine-point performance against the Cavs with a game-high 32 points the Hornets, but received little help as the Knicks fell at the buzzer on a drive and layup from Kemba Walker. You have to feel for these Knicks because their last four losses have all come by seven points or less, so it's not like they've been completely outplayed, but they just haven't been able to work out the triangle offense just yet.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a losing home record and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Knicks are 6-0 ATS in their last six games against a team above .600 but just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Head to head, the Blazers are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall but just 4-9-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings in New York.
This seems like a lot of points to give a road team, but I can't back this Knicks team with too much confidence this season until I see some consistency. I know NY have been close in their last four games, but neither of those were against teams but a double digit loss seems long overdue.
