The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors play Wednesday night at the ORACLE Arena.
The Houston Rockets have won seven of their last eight games and begin a quick two-game road trip. On the season, the Rockets are averaging 98.8 points on 42.8 percent shooting and are allowing 94 points on 42.6 percent shooting. James Harden leads Houston with 25.2 points and 6.6 assists while Trevor Ariza is averaging 14.2 points and 6.1 rebounds. Patrick Beverley is shooting 46.1 percent from the field and Donatas Motiejunas is grabbing 6.3 rebounds per game. The Houston Rockets are trying to keep their head afloat until they get 100 percent healthy. Harden is questionable with a back injury and Dwight Howard is doubtful with a knee injury. Still, the Rockets are averaging 104.2 points in their last five games on 44.7 percent shooting.

The Golden State Warriors have won 13 straight games and continue to look like the top team in the league. On the season, the Warriors are averaging 106.8 points on 48.1 percent shooting and are allowing 95.7 points on 40.9 percent shooting. Stephen Curry leads Golden State with 23.1 points and 7.7 assists while Klay Thompson is averaging 21.2 points and 3.7 rebounds. Draymond Green is grabbing 7.7 rebounds per game and Harrison Barnes is shooting 51.6 percent from the field. The Golden State Warriors offense has received a lot of the credit but their defense has improved drastically. The Warriors are holding teams to 92.6 points in their last five games on 40.3 percent shooting and are 13-0 SU this season when allowing less than 100 points.
The Rockets are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 3 or more days rest and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win. The Warriors are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games and 23-8 ATS in their last 31 games overall. The road team is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
While the Warriors were my pick to win it all and they're playing lights out ball, I can't turn down double-digit points with another good team in Houston. I'll take my chances with the points here.
