The Atlanta Hawks look to stay hot tonight when they take on the Orlando Magic.
The Atlanta Hawks have been one of the hottest teams in the Eastern Conference, winning their last nine straight including an 87-81 win over the Magic last night. Paul Millsap led the way with 23 points while Al Horford added 17 points as the Hawks snuck past the Magic despite shooting just 37.2 percent from the field. They made up for their ugly field goal percentage by getting to the line early on the offensive end and forcing turnovers on the defensive end which has been their bread and butter during their nine-game win streak. Atlanta is now 16-6 overall and 11-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have lost eight of their last 11 overall and are coming off an 87-81 defeat at Atlanta. Victor Oladipo had a nice game of 21 points on eight of 12 shooting while Evan Fournier added 18 points of his own, but the Magic struggled on offense for the most part, especially in their bench production where they got just seven points on three of 21 shooting. With that kind inefficiency, the Magic will need more from Tobias Harris who had just 13 points on four of 14 shooting, especially with Nikola Vucevic still out.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Magic are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games at home.
Head to head, the Hawks are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall but a dominant 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Orlando.
Plain and simple, it would be a major upset in my eyes if the Hawks were to lose this one. I know the Magic were right in the game last night, but there's little to suggest that the Hawks will lose after what I saw from last night's performance.
