The Memphis Grizzlies travels to the Quicken Loans Arena to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers this afternoon.
The Memphis Grizzlies will be looking to bounce back from their first loss in two weeks after falling to the Bulls by 103-97 on Friday, snapping a six-game win streak. Mike Conley led the way with 21 points while Marc Gasol had just 13 point and 10 rebounds as the Grizzlies shot just 39.4 percent as a team, including 2 for 13 from the three point line. However, the real struggles came on the defensive end where the Grizzlies just couldn't stop Jimmy Butler who poured in 31 points and Nikola Mirotic who shot a perfect 6 for 6 from the three point line to finish with 27 points off the bench. All in all, the Grizzlies didn't play that bad at all, but this was their fifth game in a week, including six overtime periods. With the loss, Memphis falls to 21-5 overall and 12-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers haven't been playing their best basketball lately, but they're coming off a 95-91 win over the Nets, their second win in the last five outings. LeBron James led the way with 22 points and nine assists while Kyrie Irving had just 16 points on 6 of 18 shooting, but Mike Miller made up for that with a super efficient 7 of 8 from the three point line en route to 21 points. Kevin Love had arguably his worst game ever, scoring just six points on 1 of 10 shooting and things only got worse as he sprained his finger on his shooting hand probably won't cause him to miss any time, but won't help his shooting percentage.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 4-1 ATSin their last five road games against a team above .600 and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record, while the Cavs are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 3-11 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and just 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Cleveland.
The Cavs have predictably opened as minor favorites in this one, but I actually think the Grizzlies with the points seem like a solid bet tonight. I'll take them to cover the spread or even win outright if you're looking for a little more value.
