The Charlotte Hornets go for a season-high fourth straight win tonight when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Charlotte Hornets have bounced back from four straight losses with three wins on the trot after taking down the Nuggets by 110-82 in a romp last night. Al Jefferson got it going early and finished with a team-high 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting while Kemba Walker had 18 points and nine assists, but neither player was required past halftime as the Nuggets led by 18 heading into halftime and by as many as 30 points before the game ended. Despite the trio of wins, Charlotte is still only 9-19 on the season and 7-9 at home.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks were on a bit of a roll after three wins in four outings, but they missed out on a big opportunity on Saturday when they fell to the Clippers by 106-102 in a tight one. Giannis AntetoKounmpo had one of his best games, scoring 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists while Jerryd Bayless and Jared Dudley added 16 points each off the bench, but despite shooting 53.1 percent from the field as a team, the Bucks just couldn't execute when it really mattered, stumbling to just 19 points in the fourth quarter to the Clippers' 24. With the loss, Milwaukee drops back to .500 with an overall record of 14-14 and a road record of 7-10.
In ATS trends, the Hornets are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games overall.
These two teams have already met once this season back on Oct. 29 and it was the Hornets who won in a 108-106 overtime thriller. A lot of basketball has been played since then and it looks like the Bucks who have improved the most, so despite the Hornets' recent hot streak, I'm sticking with the underrated Bucks who continue to impress me.
