The Detroit Pistons travel to the Quicken Loans Arena to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have won five of their last seven overall and were able to bounce back from their Christmas Day loss with a 98-89 win over the Magic on Friday. In the absence of Kyrie Irving, LeBron James stepped up and led the way with 29 points and eight assists, while Kevin Love added 22 points and Dion added 17. In what should have been an easy win, the Cavs were slow to start and didn't really look like winning until they ramped up the defense in the fourth quarter and outscored the Magic by 27-14, but after spoiling LeBron's return to Miami, the Cavs will take whatever win they can get.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons were able to snap a four-game skid on Friday with an impressive 119-109 win over the Pacers. Seven players finished in double digits but the bulk of the scoring came from Greg Monroe who scored 19 points and Andre Drummond who had 20. Even Brandon Jennings had a nice shooting night, scoring 14 points with 10 assists so it must be the Christmas cooking that did it, because the Pistons were averaging just 95.3 point per game before this outing. With the win, Detroit improves to 6-23 overall and 3-13 at home.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record, while the Cavs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Pistons are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Cleveland.
The Cavs have been anything but a sure bet all season, but surely they should be good enough to win and cover the spread against the Pistons tonight.
