The Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Hornets play Monday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
The Milwaukee Bucks have split their last eight games and begin a short two-game road trip. On the season, the Bucks are averaging 99.3 points on 46.4 percent shooting and are allowing 100.1 points on 45.1 percent shooting. Brandon Knight is averaging 17.7 points and 5.2 assists while Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 11.9 points and 5.9 rebounds. O.J. Mayo is shooting 40.7 percent from the field and Larry Sanders is grabbing 6.1 rebounds. The Milwaukee Bucks have found their offensive groove as of late, as they’re shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from deep in their last five games. The Bucks will have to keep it going on the road, a place where they’ve split their last 10 contests. Ersan Ilyasova is doubtful for this game with a concussion.

The Charlotte Hornets have won four of their last six games but are hitting the injury bug. On the season, the Hornets are averaging 95.7 points on 43 percent shooting and are allowing 100.2 points on 46.1 percent shooting. Al Jefferson is averaging 18.4 points and 8.2 rebounds while Kemba Walker is averaging 17.3 points and 5.6 assists. Gary Neal is shooting 38.2 percent from the field and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is grabbing 5.6 rebounds. The Charlotte Hornets are back to their offensive struggles, as they’re shooting just 43.1 percent from the field in their last five games. Offense has been the main issue with the Hornets, as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games SU when scoring less than 100 points. Jannero Pargo is questionable and Lance Stephenson is doubtful with injuries.
The Bucks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. Eastern Conference. The Hornets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 home games. The Bucks are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings and the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings.
The Hornets are back to stinking up the joint, while the Bucks have thrived in the underdog roll and have been a covering machine on the road. Give me Milwaukee and the points, as I simply don't trust the Hornets and any amount of chalk.
