The Charlotte Hornets and Boston Celtics play Monday night at the TD Garden.

The Charlotte Hornets are having the same issues they have all season on the offensive end, as they’re shooting just 39.6 percent from the field in their last five games. The Boston Celtics have lost six of their last seven games and continue to fight hard. On the season, the Celtics are averaging 103.3 points on 45.9 percent shooting and are allowing 104.4 points on 45.3 percent shooting. Jeff Green is averaging 18.2 points and 4.5 rebounds while Jared Sullinger is averaging 13.5 points and 8.1 rebounds. Avery Bradley is shooting 43.2 percent from the field and Kelly Olynyk is grabbing 5.5 rebounds. The Boston Celtics continue to remain competitive with an offense that has topped 100 points in seven of their last 10 games and is shooting 45.4 percent from the field in their last five. Eight of the Celtics 11 wins have come at home. Marcus Thornton and Jameer Nelson are both questionable for this game with injuries.
The Hornets are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Celtics are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Southeast and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Hornets are 11-4-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Boston and the underdog is 22-8-1 ATS in the last 31 meetings.
Both teams can't win games to save their life and I tend to think the Hornets have a bit more talent than the Celtics. The best bet would be avoiding the bet altogether but the Hornets and the points have to be the play if forced to cap this game.
