The Charlotte Hornets take the trip to the Air Canada Center to battle the Toronto Raptors tonight.
The Charlotte Hornets have now bounced back from an ugly five-game losing streak with three wins on the trot after sneaking past the Pelicans by 98-94 last night. In the absence of Al Jefferson, the Hornets relied heavily on Kemba Walker for offense and he delivered with 31 points on 12 of 24 shooting including the clutch game winner with just 1.4 seconds on the clock to give his team the win and improve to 13-24 on the season and 8-12 at home. Gerald Henderson added 16 points and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 13, but down the stretch the ball went to Walker time and time again and it paid off.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been struggling through their toughest stretch in their schedule, losing their last three games to the Trailblazers, Warriors and now the Suns. Back on Sunday, Kyle Lowry scored 19 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 21 and Louis Williams had 17 points, but the Raptors just had no answer for the Suns who scorched them in a 125-109 rout. The Raptors certainly haven't been playing their best basketball lately, but they've still won eight of their last 12 overall and their last five losses were all against teams with winning records.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last five against a team with a losing record and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Hornets are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the Hornets are 17-5 ATS in the last 22 meetings overall and a dominant 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Toronto.
I know the trends are pointing towards the Hornets getting the cover in this one, but I don't see them hanging around against a frustrated Raptors team at home after so many days off. It's got to be the Raptors for me plenty here.
