The Phoenix Suns play host to the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at the US Airways Center.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost eight of their last nine games and will be looking to avoid a sixth straight loss after getting blown out by the Kings 103-84 on Sunday. Kevin Love had a team-high 25 points while Kyrie Irving added 21, but the rest of the team struggled as the Cavs once again looked lost without LeBron James who has missed the last eight games but is listed as a game-time decision for tonight's game. Since LeBron's injury, the Cavs have acquired JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Timofey Mozgov so with so many extra pieces, you can expect more growing pains even after LeBron returns.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns are coming off a second straight loss, falling to the Grizzlies by 122-110 in a double overtime thriller. Isaiah Thomas led the way with 20 points while Markieff Morriss added 17, but the starting backcourt of Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe struggled mightily, combining for just 20 points on nine of 27 shooting. For all the poor shooting and turnovers, the Suns were right in the game until the second overtime where they fell apart and were outscored by 14-2 once the Grizzlies' Marc Gasol took over. The Suns have been one of the hottest teams to start the new year but this loss drops them to 22-18 overall and 13-11 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Suns are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Head to head, the Cavs are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Phoenix and the Under is 8-1-1 in the last 10 meetings overall.
Obviously, LeBron's availability for this game has a massive bearing on the line for this game, so once his availibility is confirmed, please check back for my free pick. I really like the Suns at home against the struggling Cavs in this one.
