The Washington Wizards travel to the Barclays Center to battle the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
The Washington Wizards have won five of their last seven games overall but are coming off a 102-80 thumping thanks to the Nets last night. John Wall had 13 points while Kris Humphries added 12 points off the bench, but outside of those two players, no one even finished in double digits as the Wizards shot just 42.5 percent from the field and 4 of 17 from the three-point line. With the loss, Washington falls to 27-13 on the season and 17-5 at home.

Meanwhile, last night's win over the Wizards snapped a seven-game losing streak for the Brooklyn Nets and they can give a lot of the credit to Jarett Jack and Brook Lopez who led the way with 26 points each. Defensively, the Nets started the game off a little sloppy but were able to clamp down and keep the Wizards in check by holding John Wall and Bradley Beal to a combined 20 points which really allowed them to control the game. With the win, Brooklyn was able to improve to 17-23 on the season and 9-10 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games folllowing a loss but 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a double digit loss at home, while the Nets are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games following a win but 0-5 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and the Underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four.
The Nets really sprung a surprise upset against the Wizards last night and should be good enough to make it two wins in two nights, but after such a big loss, I'm actually expecting the Wizards to come out with intent and return the favor.
