The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers play Friday at the Wells Fargo Center.
The Toronto Raptors have lost four of their last six games and end a three-game road trip. On the season, the Raptors are averaging 105.9 points on 45.5 percent shooting and are allowing 100.9 points on 46.3 percent shooting. Kyle Lowry is averaging 19.8 points and 7.5 assists while DeMar DeRozan is averaging 18.2 points and four rebounds. Jonas Valanciunas is grabbing 8.6 rebounds and Louis Williams is shooting 40.8 percent from the field. The Toronto Raptors offense isn’t getting it done during this stretch, as they’re shooting just 40.6 percent from the field and 26 percent from deep in their last five games. You would think the Raptors would be a better team with DeRozan back on the floor, but they’re struggling in ways they haven’t all season.

The Philadelphia 76ers are back to stinking up the joint with losses in five of their last six games. On the season, the 76ers are averaging 90.1 points on 40.9 percent shooting and are allowing 102.6 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Michael Carter-Williams is averaging 15.6 points and 7.1 assists while Robert Covington is averaging 12.5 points and 4.3 rebounds. Henry Sims is grabbing 5.7 rebounds and K.J. McDaniels is shooting 39.2 percent from the field. The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting just 39.9 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from deep in their last five games. Only three of the 76ers eight victories have come on their home court this season. Luc Mbah a Moute and Nerlens Noel are both questionable for this game with injuries.
The Raptors are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The 76ers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. The Raptors are 21-8-2 ATS in the last 31 meetings in Philadelphia and the favorite is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
The Toronto Raptors have been a struggling team as of late to the point laying double-digit chalk really isn't an option. The best bet may be avoiding this game, but if forced to pick, I'm siding with the points given the way the Raptors aren't the same team they were early on.
