The Washington Wizards travel to the US Airways Center to battle the Phoenix Suns tonight.
The Washington Wizards have won nine of their last 13 games and will be going for a third straight win after sneaking past the Lakers by 98-92 on Tuesday. John Wall led the way with 21 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists while Bradley Beal added 19 points, but the Wizards really had to battle in what should have been an easy win. After falling behind by double digits early on, the Wizards had to rally and were able to turn the game with a dominant 52-35 second half performance. With the win, Washington improved to 31-15 on the season and 13-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns were on a nice four-game win streak before back to back losses to the Rockets and the Clippers. In Sunday's 120-100 loss to LA, Isaiah Thomas scored a team-high 25 points while Eric Bledsoe added 17 points and seven assists, but the Suns were just no match for the Clippers who recovered from a slow start and dominated the second half by 65-43. The Suns had their moments and were particularly impressive in their 41-point second quarter, but the Clippers' duo of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin once again proved too much to handle. With the loss, Phoenix drops to 26-20 on the season and 13-9 at home.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games against the Western Conference and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playong on zero days rest, while the Suns are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Wizards are 3-9 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall and the Road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
The Suns should be favorites at home, especially having already beaten the Wizards by 104-92 back on Dec. 21 and that's where I'm leaning in this one.
