The Boston Celtics play host to the Houston Rockets tonight at the TD Garden.
The Houston Rockets have won four of their last five and will be going for a fourth straight win after beating the Mavericks by 99-94 on Wednesday. James Harden had somewhat of a quiet game of just 17 points and eight assists, but received plenty of help as the bench combined for 47 points, including Josh Smith who had 18 points with four three pointers in the absence of Dwight Howard who is expected to miss his third straight outing tonight.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have won three of their last five games overall but will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 110-98 loss to the Timberwolves. Jared Sullinger led six players in double digits with his 16 points while Marcus Thornton added 15 points in just 14 minutes off the bench, but the Celtics were just no match for the inspired Timberwolves who were led by 21 points from Kevin Martin. With the loss, Boston dropped to 16-28 on the season and 7-15 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall but just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Rockets are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Boston.
The betting public has been all over the Rockets in this one and after looking at all the ATS trends, there is little to suggest anything but a win and cover for the road team in this one, even without Howard.
