The Dallas Mavericks have split their last 10 games and hope to bounce back from a Wednesday loss to the Warriors. On the season, the Mavericks are averaging 106.8 points on 47.1 percent shooting and are allowing 101 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Monta Ellis is averaging 20.5 points and 4.6 assists while Dirk Nowitzki is averaging 18.3 points and six rebounds. The Sacramento Kings are going through their worst stretch of the year with losses in nine of their last 10 games. On the season, the Kings are averaging 101.3 points on 45.4 percent shooting and are allowing 104.6 points on 45.1 percent shooting. DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 23.7 points and 12.5 rebounds while Rudy Gay is averaging 20.4 points and 3.9 assists. Darren Collison is dishing 5.7 assists and Carl Landry is grabbing 4.5 rebounds. The Sacramento Kings continue to stink it up on the defensive end, as they’re allowing 47.8 percent shooting from the field and 39.2 percent shooting from deep in their last five games. The Kings have lost nine straight games SU when allowing 100 or more points. The good thing for the Kings is that 10 of their 17 wins have come on their home court.
The Mavericks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 0 days rest and 66-31 ATS in their last 97 road games. The Kings are 5-13-2 ATS in their last 20 home games and 8-21-2 ATS in their last 31 games overall. The Mavericks are 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Sacramento and 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings overall.
I'm not sure how the Mavs bounce back after blowing a game against Golden State in which they had a 22-point lead. However, I just don't like the way the Kings have been playing recently and their numbers against the spread aren't any better. Give me the Mavericks and the tiny number.
