It’s All-Star Sunday in the NBA, and after today the courts will go dark for the next four days. Still, there’s plenty to talk about this morning when it comes to news and rumors, so let’s take our daily look at the headlines and see what’s out there.
The Bucks’ Brandon Knight is heading into free agency this off-season, and tops on his list of priorities is going to a place where he feels he’ll be part of a winning team.
That’s good news for perennial title contenders who are hoping to add a PG piece that might put them over the top in the run for a championship. Knight could end up sacrificing a bit of money to go to the right place.

Now let’s get into some trade stuff, starting in Charlotte. Guard Lance Stephenson is expected to remain with the team after the trade deadline comes and goes due to the Hornets’ failure to find a willing partner.
Anything could potentially happen in the next few days, but as of right now it seems Stephenson is going to stay in Charlotte. He’s averaging 9.0 PPG and 5.6 RPG this year.
Remember how the Suns were almost definitely going to deal Goran Dragic before the deadline? Not so fast. Now a new report has come out claiming the team would rather part ways with guard Isaiah Thomas as opposed to Dragic.
The Suns reportedly were looking for a first-round pick for Dragic, but there’s no word on what they’d settle for in exchange for Thomas, whose scoring average has taken a dip this season.
Here’s a bizarre story: Warriors SG Stephen Curry’s shoes were stolen yesterday--two pair of them, actually.
Curry had planned on wearing two different sets of shoes yesterday--one for the 3-point shootout and one for the dunk contest--but after arriving at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn the shoes mysteriously went missing.
This story does have a happy ending, however: Under Armour was able to send out replacement pairs of the shoes in time for the festivities last night.
