The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the United Center to battle the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Clippers were able to put a halt to a two-game skid on Friday with a 97-79 win over the Grizzlies. Chris Paul led from the front with 19 points and 13 assists, DeAndre Jordan added 15 points and 22 rebounds and JJ Redick added 18 points as the Clippers dominated the second half by 56-38 to crush the Grizzlies. This particular win was especially important because the Grizzlies took the first two meetings of the season, including a 90-87 victory just four nights prior, so this was one the Clippers desperately wanted. With the win, LA improved to 38-21 on the season and 15-13 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been enjoying plenty of success themselves, with seven wins in their last nine outings including a 96-89 win on Friday. With Derrick Rose out of the lineup once again, Aaron Brooks was inserted into the starting lineup but shot just two of 15 for his six points, but luckily Jimmy Butler resumed the role of leading scorer and poured in 28 points and received plenty of support from Mike Dunleavy who made five treys en route to 21 points. With the win, Chicago improved to 37-22 overall which is currently good enough for the third spot in the Eastern standings.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 5-13 ATS in their last 18 road games, while the Bulls are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record and 5-12 ATS in the last 17 games following a win.
Head to head, the Clippers are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Chicago.
The Bulls have opened as slight favorites in this one, but I'm actually preferring a play on the Clippers in this one. I'm sure it's going to be a close contest from start to finish, but the Clippers were very impressive in their dominant win over the Grizzlies in their last outing so I'm expecting more of the same.
