The Charlotte Hornets play host to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers had matched a season high of three straight wins on Friday but had their party spoiled on Sunday when they lost to the Thunder by 108-101. Jeremy Lin had a nice outing of 20 points and eight assists while Jordan Hill added 14 points and 12 rebounds but for the most part, the Lakers were disappointing as they lost to a Thunder team playing without their top two players in Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. It's been a tough season for Laker fans and it might just get a little worse as LA heads back on the road where they've lost 11 of their last 12.

Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have bounced back from a five-game losing streak with two wins in their last three outings, including a 98-83 win over the Magic on Sunday. Mo Williams continued his hot form with 23 points and 11 assists while Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller and Gerald Henderson all chipped in with 16 points each as the Hornets held the Magic to 36.5 shooting to cruise to victory. With the win, Charlotte improves to 24-33 on the season which keeps them right in the mid-table logjam of the Eastern Conference.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall and 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 road games, while the Hornets are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games following a win and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against a team below .400.
Head to head, the Lakers are 5-14 ATS in the last 19 meetings and the Under is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Charlotte.
The Hornets have only been slightly better than the Lakers ATS lately, but they looked very good in their latest win and should be more than good enough to beat the Lakers by double digits at home.
