Two of the best teams collide tonight when the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Atlanta Hawks.
The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to build on their five-game winning streak after taking down the Rockets by 104-96 on Tuesday. Jeff Teague led hte team with 25 points, Al Horford added 18 points while Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder added 16 points each as the Hawks rallied back from a, 18-point deficit to take down the Rockets who were playing without James Harden. The Hawks really did look absolutely dead in the water in the third quarter, but they just ramped up their defense and shut down the Rockets to win the game and clinch a playoff spot in 20 fewer games than it took last season.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in red-hot form lately and will be feeling pretty good after taking down the Raptors by 120-112 on Wednesday. LeBron James led the way with 29 points and 14 assists, including 15 points in the fourth quarter, while Kyrie Irving added 26 points and Kevin Love added 22 points as the Cavs took advantage of a Raptors team still missing their best player in Kyle Lowry. The Cavs actually entered the fourth quarter with a 10-point lead, so they'll be a little disappointed that they didn't put the game to bed and win by double digits, but just getting the win was important enough because it puts them in prime position to leapfrog both the Bulls and the Raptors for the second spot in the East.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win and 18-6 ATS in their last 24 games overall, while the Hawks are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games against a team above .600 and 35-15-1 ATS in their last 51 games overall.
Head to head, the Cavaliers are 6-13 ATS in the last 19 meetings overall and the Over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Atlanta.
Here we have two of the hottest teams in the league meeting at just the right time, so it's really hard to pick either team over the other. Therefore, I'm just going with my gut and taking the Hawks at home because you just know that they've had this meeting circled on their calendar from day one.
