The Utah Jazz travel to Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
The Utah Jazz have won seven of their last 10 overall but will still be feeling the pain of their 85-84 loss at the buzzer to the Celtics on the Wednesday. Derrick Favors and Trey Burke led the team with 16 points each, Gordon Hayward added 13 points including a go-ahead basket with just just over one second left on the clock, only to fall to a Tyler Zeller layup at the buzzer. The loss snaps a three-game win streak and sends Utah to 24-36 on the season and 11-20 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have lost eight of their last nine games overall but almost pulled off a major upset on Wednesday, falling to the surging Thunder by 123-118 in overtime. Isaiah Canaan had a career-best 31 points on 10 of 16 shooting including eight three pointers while Jason Richardson added 29 points, but the Sixers fell just short to the Thunder who were led by Russell Westbrook's career-high 49 points. The Sixers will be disappointed with the loss, but they showed plenty of fight as they stormed back from a nine-point deficit with just 1:48 in the game and even had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but failed on a botched inbounds play.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 3-0-2 ATS in their last five road games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a loss, while the 76ers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games and 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss.
Head to head, the Jazz are 18-8-1 ATS in the last 27 meetings overall and the home team is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
The Jazz have been playing much better than their second record suggests so they really shouldn't have too much of a problem in beating the 76ers tonight. However, the 76ers have been 18-11 ATS at home this season and I think they should be able to improve on that after what we saw from them in their last outing.
