The Toronto Raptors look to snap out of their funk tonight when they pay a visit to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Toronto Raptors have lost eight of their last nine and are desperate to avoid a fourth straight loss after falling to the Thunder by 108-104 on Sunday. DeMar DeRozan had a nice game of 24 points and nine assists while Terrence Ross added 20 points including six three-pointers, but it still wasn't enough to overcome the Thunder's Russell Westbrook who dominated the game and racked up his fifth triple-double in six games. It's unfair to point the blame at anyone because it takes a team to defend Westbrook, but most of the damage was done whilst Kyle Lowry was guarding him. With the loss, Toronto dropped to 38-25 putting them in real danger of dropping out of the top four in the East come playoff time.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have quietly been playing some of their best basketball of the season and it's resulted in them winning their last five straight including a 116-105 rout of the Bulls on Sunday. Tony Parker led the team with 32 points on 13 of 19 shooting, Kawhi Leonard added 20 points and Manu Ginobili had 16 points as the Spurs jumped out to an 18-point lead at halftime before cruising in the second half. With the win, San Antonio improved to 39-23 on the season which has them just half a game behind Los Angeles and Dallas who are currently ahead of them in fifth and sixth place respectively.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall, while the Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a win of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the home team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall and the Raptors are 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings in San Antonio.
The Spurs have really picked up their play lately and should be good enough to get the win tonight and cover at home over the struggling Raptors.
